Cancellation & Refund Policy

We want exploring your purpose and calling to feel safe and straightforward. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for our courses and coaching.

It applies to purchases from Equipe Coaching & Counselling Pty Ltd (ABN 59 657 410 627), trading as Equipe Coaching (“we”, “us”).

Your consumer guarantees

Our products and services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. These include that we’ll provide services with due care and skill, and that what you buy is of acceptable quality and fit for its purpose. Nothing in this policy limits those rights. If there’s a major problem with something you’ve bought, you’re entitled to a remedy, including a refund where the law provides one.

The guarantee and refund options below are in addition to your consumer guarantees.

1. Discover Your Calling course

Discover Your Calling is available as Self-Guided or Course + Coaching (the course plus two 60-minute coaching sessions with Rick). If you start with Self-Guided, you can add up to two 60-minute coaching sessions with Rick at $185 each, used during your 12 months of course access (see section 3).

Our 60-day guarantee

Complete the course within 60 days of purchase. If it isn’t for you, tell us and we’ll refund your payment, less any coaching sessions already held.

To be covered by the guarantee:

You’ve worked through all five Elements (your course progress will normally show this, but if it doesn’t, just tell us), and
You email us at admin@equipecoaching.com on or before day 60 from the date of purchase.

What you’ll receive

Self-Guided: a full refund of the amount you paid for the course. Any coaching sessions you’ve added are covered in section 3.
Course + Coaching: a refund of the amount you paid, less $185 for each coaching session already held. ($185 is the value of each session within the Course + Coaching price.)
We don’t charge an administration or refund fee.
We’ll refund you to your original payment method within 10 business days of confirming your request.

When a refund is made, your access to the course ends and any remaining coaching sessions are cancelled. If you ask after day 60, the guarantee doesn’t apply, but your consumer guarantees still do, and we’re always happy to talk with you.

2. Leading From Your Strengths (LFYS) course

The LFYS course is $15. It’s also included free with some purchases as a bonus. Access is for 12 months from purchase. Once you’ve enrolled, you can add one 60-minute coaching session with Rick for $185, arranged directly with him and used during your 12 months of access (see section 3).

The same 60-day guarantee applies. Complete the course within 60 days of purchase, tell us it isn’t for you, and we’ll refund what you paid us for the course. If the course came free with another purchase, there’s nothing further to refund for it. A coaching session arranged separately follows the coaching section below.

The LFYS Profile itself is bought separately by you from the profile provider, using the discount code we give you. It isn’t covered by our refund. Any refund for the profile is a matter between you and the provider.

3. Coaching sessions

Changing or cancelling a session

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, or miss a session without telling us, the session may be counted as held. We’ll always try to be understanding when something genuinely unexpected comes up.
If Rick needs to cancel or reschedule, we’ll offer you a new time or refund that session.

Stopping coaching

If you’d like to stop at any point, just let us know. You’ll be charged only for sessions already held, and any unused pre-paid sessions are refunded as set out below.

Coaching sessions on their own

Single sessions and blocks of three are available without any course. A single session is $195, or a block of three is $540 ($180 per session).
A block of three is priced at a discount. If you stop part-way through, sessions held and any unused sessions are both worked out at the block’s per-session price (the block price divided by three, which is $180).

Coaching sessions added to a course

If you’ve bought a course, you can add 60-minute sessions with Rick at $185 each, arranged directly with him and used during your 12 months of course access. Sessions are invoiced separately from the course.
Discover Your Calling Self-Guided: up to two sessions.
LFYS course: one session.
Course + Coaching already includes two sessions, and the 12 months of access run from your original purchase date, including if you upgrade.

Pre-paid sessions

If you’ve pre-paid for sessions and decide not to continue, we’ll refund the sessions you haven’t used at the per-session price in your confirmation. There’s no administration fee.
Pre-paid sessions are intended to be used within 12 months of payment. This includes the two sessions in Course + Coaching, which are intended to be used during your 12 months of course access. If something gets in the way, contact us and we’ll work out the best option with you, including a refund of any unused sessions at $185 each.
If you’d like, we may be able to transfer unused sessions to someone you refer to us.

4. How to ask for a refund

Email us at admin@equipecoaching.com with your name, the email address you used to buy, and what you purchased. You don’t need to give a reason, though we’d welcome your feedback. We’ll reply within 3 business days.

5. After you contact us

We care about your journey. If you ask for a refund, we may check in, offer support or invite your feedback in a short survey. That’s entirely optional.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in place on the day you purchase applies to that purchase.
